Today was great! J.M. spent several hours outside while me and Elizabeth worked in the yard. Elizabeth mowed the yard while I used a hoe to edge the carport.
While outside, J.M. walked around the yard. He played with our dog, Anna, and he picked up rocks. He even carried a purple bloom from a clover patch to his mother!
He begs to go outside every time the door is open, and he could open the door if he was tall enough. He has picked up on what we do to open the screen door!
He has a habit of walking through the house after supper every evening and smiling at himself while he walks. We get so much joy from watching him learn.
Hello to all!
JM has finally started walking by himself for long distances! He has learned to either land on his bottom or put his hands in front of him, So, we haven’t had any bloody noses in a while. He has also cut tooth number 5. He can also feed himself with a spoon if the food is thick enough, So, he feeds himself his baby cereal, but not the baby food. Apple trees at Carver’s Orchards on Cosby stood in snow early Saturday morning. Most of the fruit trees were in bloom when the temperature dropped below freezing with more cold weather on Sunday and Monday.
Snow blew sideways early Saturday morning at Cosby. The temperature was about 25 degrees when snow blew in mid-morning. Business for hot coffee and warm food was brisk at D.J.’s Market off Highway 321. The Laurel Springs Motel took on as winter look.
